R&B singer Rihanna immediately exited her stage when her show’s pyrotechnics got out of control.  This happened while she was singing her hit song “California King Bed” last Friday night.  As she was singing the last part of the show, some fireworks prematurely ignited.

Almost the same time the R&B singer left the stage, the audience were also asked to evacuate the arena.  Good thing is that no one was reported hurt or injured.  However, as anyone dying to see Rihanna perform would feel, Dallas audience were disappointed that the concert got cut short and some were even asking for a ticket refund.  What’s good with Rihanna, and thanks to technology, she was able to Tweet right away to give fans a heads up and promised that she will return to finish what she started.  She tweeted “DALLAS!!! We set the stage on FYAH tonight!!! LITERALLY!!!”  She also later tweeted “I promise I’ll be back!!! Heading into a production meeting to find out exactly what happened!!! Keep u posted.”  Now, all the fans can do is wait for any announcements about the aborted concert.

Rihanna’s concert in Dallas is part of her LOUD concert tour.  Up next in her long list of destinations is at the BJCC Arena in Birmingham, AL on Monday July 11.

For sure, Rihanna’s handlers will do their very best to complete Rihanna’s Dallas concert.  It was such a misfortune that the singing sensation was only able to perform “Disturbia”, “Shut Up”, “S&M”, and “Only Girl.”  Her Dallas fans have yet to see her perform “Umbrella”, “SOS”, and her other mind blowing songs.

Stay positive and be patient.  It might be possible that Rihanna will conclude her LOUD concert first before she reschedules Dallas.  Or maybe her handlers and producers would come to an agreement to finish her Dallas concert first.  Let’s wait and see.  Then again, be thankful that nothing bad happened to anyone present in the concert and that the fire was immediately extinguished even prior to the arrival of the Dallas Firefighters.
